The 10th All Colorado Beer Festival is over, and it was a success!
We raised enough revenue to donate $82,000, and we are now handing out the beneficiary checks. So far we have given The Home Front Cares $23,000, the Empty Stocking Fund $23,000, and the ACBF Scholarship Fund $10,000. That leaves one more check of $26,000 that will be presented to THEATREWORKS on Friday, December 9th.
Each ticket buyer helped make this possible. We estimate that 67% of the price of each ticket is a donation to the beneficiaries! Congratulations to each of you for your support of Colorado Springs nonprofits.

This year the ACBF celebrates its 10th anniversary. To date we have given away over $315,000 to our beneficiaries.
Each year, in addition to raising a lot of money for our beneficiaries and pouring a lot of beer for our 3,200 guests, the ACBF presents its Champion Award to an individual or organization that has provided special support to the ACBf and/or the Colorado brewing industry. In the past, we have presented the award to Mike Bristol of Bristol Brewing, Kieth Villa of Blue Moon, and New Belgium Brewing. This year we take great pleasure in presenting the award to a true Colorado brewing pioneer: Governor John Hickenlooper.
Governor Hickenlooper was part of the group that opened Wynkoop Brewery in lower downtown Denver and converted that sketchy neighborhood into the destination it is today. Wynkoop was the second craft brewery in the state after Boulder Beer and truly transformed a neighborhood. Just another example of the amazing impact of beer!
The ACBF team presented the award to Governor Hickenlooper in his office on Thursday.
