CO CRAFT SPIRITS FESTIVAL
Craft Spirits With a Benefit for Colorado Springs Area NonprofitsCraft distilleries have rapidly become a major industry in the state of Colorado. While not yet rivaling the sheer numbers of the craft brewing industry, spirits are growing rapidly with over 80 distillers now in operation in the state. The All Colorado Beer Festival (a 501(c)(3)) has operated a successful beer festival featuring the brewers of Colorado for ten years. Our most recent festival drew 75 representatives from the brewing industry, 2,600 guests, and allowed the donation of $82,000 to local nonprofit organizations in 2016 and almost $400,000 in our ten years of operation. We believe it is time for the craft spirit industry to receive the same sort of visibility that is available to the brewers of the state.
In 2015 and 2016, we produced a Colorado Craft Spirits Festival. The festivals featured over 20 craft distillers from the state including those shown below. Guests paid a single fee of $50 and were treated to unlimited samples of the spirits at the festival. In addition, heavy appetizers, entertainment, and educational sessions were provided.
