ACBF Proceeds Benefit Colorado Springs Area Nonprofits

The All Colorado Beer Festival is a 501(c)(3) corporation registered in Colorado. The organization was established in 2007 to operate beer festivals with the express purpose of raising funds for Colorado Springs area nonprofits. To date, through ticket sales and our entirely volunteer staff, the ACBF has generated $513,900 for our beneficiaries. We could not make these large contributions without the many people involved in the festival. First, and foremost, the brewers. Without their generous donation of beer, there would be no festival. Brewers are not paid! They donate all the beer. Second, you our guests. About half the price of each ticket goes directly to our beneficiaries and may qualify as a donation on your taxes. Finally, our entire volunteer staff: the planning committee, the captains and assistant captains, and the individual volunteers. Every person involved is a key contributor!

The 2018 All Colorado Beer Festival raised enough revenue to donate $49,000. The Home Front Cares received $15,000, the Empty Stocking Fund $15,000, the ACBF Scholarship Fund $4,000, and THEATREWORKS $15,000.

Each ticket buyer helped make this possible. We estimate that 65% of the price of each ticket is a donation to the beneficiaries! Congratulations to each of you for your support of Colorado Springs nonprofits.

Empty Stocking Fund

The Empty Stocking FundThe Empty Stocking Fund is an annual holiday fundraising campaign that supports 14 Pikes Peak Area health and human service agencies that help people in crisis and assist others in attaining self-sufficiency. Established more than 20 years ago by Colorado Springs’ local newspaper, The Gazette, the Fund has provided nearly $7.3 million in grant support. The Gazette partners with the El Pomar and Bruni Foundations to match contributions made by the community. Every dollar a donor gives grows up to 63 percent through these matches. The Gazette and El Pomar share all administrative expenses so 100 percent of funds raised goes toward helping those in need. ACBF is the largest organizational donor to the Empty Stocking Fund every year and have contributed $120,500 to date.
